We are seeking a visionary Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our elite team in Arlington. In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee robust security frameworks that protect global enterprises from sophisticated cyber threats.
You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate security-by-design principles into cloud-native architectures, ensuring compliance and operational resilience in an ever-evolving threat landscape.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy enterprise-grade security solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts to proactively identify and mitigate systemic risks.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies, standards, and incident response procedures.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement automated security checks within CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
- Monitor global threat intelligence feeds to anticipate emerging attack vectors and harden perimeter defenses.
- Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to long-term cybersecurity roadmap initiatives.
- Conduct deep-dive forensic investigations and root-cause analysis for high-priority security incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or information security engineering.
- Professional certifications required: CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
- Hands-on expertise with SIEM, EDR, and IAM platforms (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, Okta).
- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC2.
- Proven ability to script in Python, Go, or PowerShell to automate security workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex security risks into business-aligned technical strategy.
