Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain multi-layered security frameworks, including zero-trust, IAM, and micro-segmentation.
- Lead proactive threat modeling exercises to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security-as-code (DevSecOps) into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct deep-dive technical reviews of architectural designs to ensure alignment with NIST and ISO 27001 standards.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
- Evaluate, pilot, and deploy next-generation security tooling, including EDR, SIEM, and SOAR platforms.
- Manage incident response strategy and oversee post-mortem analysis for security-critical events.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Masterās preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise security architecture or engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP security configurations and cloud-native protection.
- Proven ability to script and automate security workflows using Python, PowerShell, or Go.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cryptographic standards, and identity provider integrations.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical risk to non-technical stakeholders.
