Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-layered security architectures for cloud-native and on-premise environments.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and perform comprehensive security assessments across the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and best practices aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate 'Security-as-Code' principles within CI/CD pipelines.
- Act as the primary technical lead for incident response strategy and large-scale vulnerability remediation.
- Evaluate, pilot, and deploy cutting-edge security technologies and threat intelligence solutions.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a security-first engineering culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture and engineering.
- Deep technical proficiency with AWS/Azure/GCP cloud security controls and identity management (IAM).
- Proven expertise in container security (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols, network security, and zero-trust architecture.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex security risks to executive stakeholders.
