Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure network architectures, cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and application infrastructures.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and perform comprehensive risk assessments for new product integrations.
- Develop and enforce enterprise-wide security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to integrate security controls directly into the CI/CD pipeline (DevSecOps).
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to advanced security threats and vulnerabilities with proactive mitigation strategies.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.
- Evaluate and implement cutting-edge security technologies, including ZTNA, IAM, and AI-driven detection tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or architecture with a proven track record of securing enterprise environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud security paradigms and zero-trust architecture.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of cryptography, network protocols, and common attack vectors (OWASP Top 10).
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, Go, or Bash) for automation and security orchestration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security risks to stakeholders and executive leadership.
