Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise-wide security architecture and cloud-native protection strategies.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and vulnerability assessments for complex distributed systems.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and technical governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate 'Security by Design' principles into the SDLC.
- Conduct incident response simulations and oversee remediation efforts for high-impact security events.
- Evaluate and implement emerging cybersecurity tools, including AI-driven monitoring and zero-trust solutions.
- Mentor junior security engineers and promote a culture of proactive security awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in information security, cloud architecture, or infrastructure security.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS/Azure/GCP security configurations and identity management (IAM).
- Proven track record of managing enterprise security initiatives and compliance standards (NIST, CIS, SOC2).
- Deep understanding of network security, encryption protocols, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS).
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to articulate technical risk to stakeholders.
