Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze cyber threats using SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Develop incident response plans for critical infrastructure vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with federal agencies to coordinate security protocols
- Conduct risk assessments for classified and unclassified government systems
- Lead security awareness training programs for government personnel
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA security frameworks
- Produce detailed threat reports and executive briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or government IT roles
- CISSP or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and risk assessment
- Experience with federal security standards (NIST, FISMA, CUI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
