Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for federal agency networks
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection protocols using SIEM platforms
- Coordinate incident response for cyber security breaches across government systems
- Create comprehensive cybersecurity policy recommendations for executive leadership
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct technical training sessions
- Collaborate with FBI, NSA, and international partners on threat intelligence sharing
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and CMMC frameworks
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity with federal government or regulated industry experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP networking, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure), and intrusion detection systems
- Demonstrated experience with Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, and CrowdStrike technologies
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field

- Proficiency in Python and SQL for threat hunting
