Responsibilities
- Perform rigorous risk assessments and vulnerability management to protect organizational assets.
- Lead and coordinate incident response activities during cybersecurity breaches.
- Ensure compliance with federal standards including FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and PIPEDA.
- Manage and configure SIEM solutions and endpoint protection tools.
- Conduct security audits and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into development lifecycle.
- Write and maintain detailed technical documentation and security policies.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or network security.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
- Experience with government security clearance processes is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
