Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from pre-construction planning to final handover and closeout.
- Manage multi-million dollar budgets, track costs, and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure design integrity.
- Enforce rigorous safety standards and ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and local building codes.
- Lead and mentor on-site teams, conducting regular progress reviews and performance evaluations.
- Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) or CAPM certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction or large-scale residential projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of local California building codes, accessibility standards, and LEED certification processes.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to travel to various job sites across the Bay Area as required.
