Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess complex commercial insurance risks across diverse industries
- Develop tailored insurance solutions and pricing strategies for mid-market clients
- Build and maintain strong broker relationships to drive business acquisition
- Lead underwriting committees and mentor junior team members
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes affecting commercial insurance
- Collaborate with claims and actuarial teams to optimize risk management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field required
- 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience with Property & Casualty focus
- CPCU, ARM, or CIC designation strongly preferred
- Expertise in risk assessment, financial analysis, and insurance regulations
- Proven track record in developing profitable commercial portfolios
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in underwriting software (e.g., Duck Creek, Guidewire)
