Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead architectural discussions and provide technical leadership for complex cloud projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies and trends, making recommendations for their adoption to enhance our service offerings and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, policies, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud solutions.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Conduct performance tuning, cost optimization, and capacity planning for cloud infrastructure to maximize efficiency and minimize expenditure.
- Act as a subject matter expert for cloud security, compliance (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR), and data governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in IT with at least 5 years dedicated to cloud architecture and design roles.
- Deep expertise in at least two major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Proven experience with infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
- Expertise in designing and implementing secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and drive architectural decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
