Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures for enterprise clients
- Lead cloud migration strategies and optimization initiatives reducing operational costs by 30%+
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on security best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical workshops on cloud adoption
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with 5+ years specializing in AWS
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC)
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in security frameworks (CIS, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and serverless architectures
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for stakeholders
