Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust cloud security frameworks across multi-cloud environments
- Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments for cloud-native applications
- Automate security controls using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Lead incident response for cloud security breaches and conduct post-mortem analysis
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security best practices across DevOps teams
- Stay current with evolving cloud threats and emerging security technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in cloud security with 3+ years in AWS/Azure environments
- Expertise in security tools: AWS WAF, GuardDuty, Azure Sentinel, and Palo Alto Networks
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and security automation
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Security Specialty required
- Experience with Kubernetes security and container runtime protection
- Proven track record of implementing zero-trust architectures
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
