Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud security architectures across AWS/Azure/GCP environments
- Lead incident response for cloud-based security breaches and conduct forensic investigations
- Develop automated security monitoring tools using Python and Terraform
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for cloud-native applications
- Mentor junior engineers and establish security best practices across DevOps pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to embed security into SDLC processes
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years specializing in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent certification
- Expertise in IAM, network security, and container security (Kubernetes)
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Demonstrated experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel) and threat intelligence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to technical/non-technical stakeholders
