Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cloud security architectures across AWS/Azure/GCP environments
- Lead incident response for cloud breaches, developing containment and remediation protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of cloud-native applications
- Automate security monitoring solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and Python
- Mentor junior engineers through security code reviews and architecture workshops
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Stay current with emerging threats and cloud security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years specializing in cloud environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services (GuardDuty, Sentinel, WAF, IAM)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and security automation
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Security Specialty required
- Strong experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS)
- Knowledge of threat modeling, zero-trust architecture, and encryption standards
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and log analytics
- Excellent communication skills for presenting security strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders
