Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure).
- Lead the automation of infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols in alignment with FedRAMP and NIST compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate legacy on-premise applications to hybrid-cloud architectures.
- Provide technical leadership for incident response and troubleshoot complex distributed system issues.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on cloud best practices and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
- Regularly audit infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency to ensure taxpayer value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
- Proven experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
- Familiarity with Government security frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
