Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure, scalable multi-cloud infrastructure environments.
- Lead the migration of legacy federal applications to modern cloud-native architectures.
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment cycles while maintaining compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FedRAMP-compliant security controls.
- Conduct performance tuning and cost optimization analysis across cloud environments.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning for national systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture (AWS or Azure preferred).
- Proven track record with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Deep understanding of FedRAMP security requirements and NIST compliance standards.
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to obtain a Federal Security Clearance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
