Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure environments (AWS/Azure) ensuring high availability and security.
- Lead the migration of legacy government applications to modernized cloud-native architectures.
- Implement automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles and improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce strict security compliance and FedRAMP standards.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and advocate for best practices in cloud governance.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive incident response protocols.
- Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tooling to ensure consistency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS or Azure services, including IAM, VPC, and EKS.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience working within regulated environments or government sectors is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of security protocols, including FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
