Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain multi-region cloud environments across AWS and Azure Government platforms.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing Terraform and Ansible to automate deployment cycles.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53 requirements.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, cost-efficiency, and operational reliability.
- Lead incident response protocols and conduct root-cause analysis for complex infrastructure outages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines into the production ecosystem.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on cloud best practices and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure management.
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure cloud services, networking, and security configurations.
- Proven experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity policies and DevSecOps principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
