Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms within a FedRAMP-compliant environment.
- Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows.
- Architect secure, high-availability solutions that meet stringent government security standards and NIST compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to migrate legacy on-premise applications to modern, cloud-native architectures.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Monitor system performance, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize resource allocation for cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure cloud services (EC2, Lambda, EKS, RDS, VPC).
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
