Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, highly-available infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi to automate environment provisioning.
- Lead the migration and optimization of containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Develop robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity.
- Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and implement proactive optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software teams to define cloud architecture best practices.
- Ensure stringent security protocols and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA) are maintained.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or SRE roles.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS/GCP services and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Strong expertise in Linux systems administration and scripting (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Deep understanding of IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation) and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements to stakeholders.
