Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly scalable, secure, and performant cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
- Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, reliable deployments across production environments.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and manage costs through advanced monitoring and analysis.
- Lead incident response efforts and implement proactive disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in system architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS or GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes orchestration and containerization strategies.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and DNS.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-traffic distributed systems.
