Responsibilities
- Architect and implement multi-cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Design CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins for automated deployments
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring and architectural improvements
- Lead disaster recovery planning and security compliance initiatives (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct infrastructure code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Document infrastructure blueprints and runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years cloud engineering experience
- Expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with relevant certifications
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
- Strong background in Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
- Experience with containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance metrics
