Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant cloud architectures on AWS/Azure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment across staging and production environments.
- Proactively monitor system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimization strategies.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex cloud service disruptions.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in cloud governance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud-native services into existing workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and systems administration.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3) or Azure cloud stacks.
- Solid experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Deep understanding of networking (VPC, VPN, DirectConnect, DNS) and security protocols.
- Professional certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional) is highly preferred.
