Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Lead the transition to microservices using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) to enhance scalability.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid deployment without sacrificing system stability.
- Monitor and optimize cloud spending to ensure cost-efficiency at scale.
- Collaborate with Security teams to implement 'Security-as-Code' and maintain compliance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in site reliability engineering (SRE).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expertise in AWS and/or Azure ecosystem (EC2, VPC, Lambda, RDS, IAM).
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Solid experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Load Balancing).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed system issues in a fast-paced environment.
