Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, high-availability cloud infrastructure using AWS/GCP services
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools
- Optimize cloud costs through architectural improvements and resource monitoring
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams on compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies for implementation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS/GKE)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (VPC, VPN, DNS)
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
