Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure solutions using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Ansible for automated deployments
- Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
- Conduct infrastructure cost optimization and security hardening initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for infrastructure as code
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud resource utilization
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong background in network security, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Proven track record of designing high-availability systems for enterprise-scale applications
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and configuration management
- Certifications (AWS/GCP Solutions Architect, CISSP, or Kubernetes Administrator) preferred
- Experience with cost optimization tools and FinOps methodologies
