Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Lead the migration of legacy applications to cloud-native, containerized environments using Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management through Terraform and Ansible.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and accelerate deployment cycles.
- Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot latency issues, and optimize resource costs.
- Implement enterprise-grade security protocols, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in system architecture and site reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or SRE roles.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS or GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM).
- Deep expertise in container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proven experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking, Linux internals, and security best practices.
