Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available multi-region cloud environments on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure environment consistency.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles.
- Proactively monitor system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software engineering teams to drive best practices in cloud-native design.
- Conduct regular security audits and maintain rigorous compliance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3) and Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation tasks.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes orchestration and containerization strategies.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in an agile, fast-paced environment.
