Responsibilities
- Design and maintain high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment workflows.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive security patches and updates.
- Lead technical post-mortems and incident response for critical service outages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microservices architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for internal technical best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3).
- Strong mastery of containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Deep experience with Linux systems administration and network protocols.
- Professional certification (AWS Solutions Architect or CKA) is highly preferred.
