Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment velocity and system reliability.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce zero-trust architecture and compliance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead architectural design reviews for critical system components.
- Analyze system performance metrics to optimize costs and resource allocation.
- Lead incident response efforts and implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS or GCP cloud services and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Strong development skills in Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking (TCP/IP, DNS), and security protocols.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale production environments with 99.99% uptime.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
