Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, auto-scaling AWS infrastructure across multiple regions.
- Lead the migration of legacy services into modern, containerized environments using Kubernetes (EKS).
- Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and secure code deployment.
- Implement comprehensive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using Terraform and Ansible.
- Design robust monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Partner with security teams to enforce Zero Trust architecture and SOC2 compliance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core service suite.
- Proven track record of managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for complex automation tasks.
- Strong experience with Terraform for managing multi-tier cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and DNS management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis in distributed systems.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
