Responsibilities
- Architect and scale highly available, secure, and performant cloud-native infrastructure using AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity and reduce manual toil.
- Lead incident response and perform post-mortem analysis to enhance system resilience.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence and peer code review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to optimize cloud resource utilization and cost-efficiency.
- Manage and monitor production environments using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS or GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Cloud Storage).
- Strong scripting and programming skills in Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and service meshes.
- Experience managing large-scale distributed systems in a production environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
