Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment workflows.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct blameless post-mortems for system outages.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence and security-first engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud spend and resource efficiency.
- Design and manage complex Kubernetes orchestration strategies for microservices architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS or GCP services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, Cloud Run).
- Deep expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or Ruby for automation scripting.
- Demonstrated experience with monitoring and observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of distributed systems architecture.
