Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi to ensure reproducible deployments.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to increase deployment frequency and system reliability.
- Lead incident response and perform deep-dive troubleshooting for complex system outages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Mentor junior engineers and champion architectural standards across the organization.
- Monitor and manage system performance, cost-efficiency, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS/GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM).
- Deep experience with Kubernetes (K8s) cluster management and service mesh architectures.
- Expert-level coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation purposes.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems design.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks in cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
