Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, multi-region cloud environments on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Drive continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to optimize delivery speed.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, ensuring optimal resource allocation and security.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct thorough post-mortem analyses for system outages.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud governance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, or DevOps.
- Deep expertise in AWS/GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM, S3, Networking).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
