Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Design Kubernetes orchestration systems for microservices at scale
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime for production environments
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis for complex system failures
- Mentor junior engineers through our internal knowledge-sharing platform
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Spinnaker
- Conduct security hardening and compliance audits for cloud environments
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 4+ years in AWS/GCP
- Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Advanced scripting skills (Python/Bash) for automation
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or AWS Solutions Architect Pro
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Demonstrated success in designing systems handling 10K+ RPS
- Strong background in CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
