Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, cloud-native infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
- Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity and code quality.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem investigations for production systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and resource allocation.
- Implement advanced security, compliance, and cost-optimization strategies across cloud environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and DevOps excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS services (EKS, RDS, Lambda, VPC) or Google Cloud Platform.
- Expert-level expertise in container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities in Python, Go, or Bash.
- In-depth understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and distributed systems.
- Experience with monitoring and observability stacks like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.
