Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, resilient infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and execute root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into infrastructure designs.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap of the infrastructure team.
- Manage cost-optimization strategies to ensure efficient resource utilization across cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, specifically with AWS or GCP.
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking protocols, and cloud security frameworks.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale distributed systems in a production environment.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
