Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to standardize environment deployments.
- Lead incident response for critical production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Optimize cloud cost architecture to maximize performance while reducing overhead.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in CI/CD integration.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce zero-trust architecture and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
- Expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3) and GCP environments.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Strong grasp of network security protocols, load balancing, and DNS management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.
