NexusScale Systems is looking for a visionary Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our core architecture team. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available cloud environments that power our global enterprise applications. Responsibilities
- Design and manage complex, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workflows using Terraform and Ansible.
- Optimize cloud spending and resource allocation to ensure cost-efficiency without sacrificing performance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional software engineering teams to resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Manage security, compliance, and monitoring protocols to maintain 99.99% uptime.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across the DevOps engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Expert-level proficiency in AWS/GCP and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes/EKS).
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation purposes.
- Proven expertise in managing relational and NoSQL databases at scale.
- In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals, load balancing, and CDN architectures.
- Professional certification in AWS Solutions Architect (Professional) or equivalent.
