Responsibilities
- Design and implement resilient cloud architectures on AWS/GCP with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead cost optimization initiatives reducing cloud spend by 15%+ quarterly
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security best practices (CIS, HIPAA)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Drive incident response and post-mortem analysis for cloud outages
Qualifications
- 5+ years designing cloud infrastructure with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code principles
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
- Strong background in Linux systems, networking, and security protocols
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
