Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment speed and reliability.
- Conduct deep-dive performance analysis and capacity planning for mission-critical systems.
- Establish rigorous security benchmarks and monitoring protocols across all environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence and peer review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical cloud solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expertise in AWS and GCP services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes orchestration and containerization strategies.
- Hands-on knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of handling high-traffic production incidents.
