Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native microservices architecture
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Optimize cloud costs through architectural improvements and resource monitoring
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies, network segmentation, and encryption
- Establish disaster recovery plans and conduct regular DR drills
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus/Grafana and Splunk
- Document infrastructure designs and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in senior roles
- Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure) with relevant certifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Strong experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
- Understanding of network security principles and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
