Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS or GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production outages.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in SRE and DevOps culture.
- Optimize cloud spending through resource utilization analysis and cost-management automation.
- Ensure compliance with security standards including SOC2 and HIPAA across all environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3) or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong expertise in container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security protocols (SSL/TLS, Firewalls).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed microservices architectures.
