Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate deployments.
- Optimize cloud spending through rigorous analysis and implementation of cost-efficiency strategies.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-mortem analysis for system outages.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for cloud security and architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microservices architectures seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and serverless technologies.
- Experience managing large-scale distributed systems in a production environment.
- Strong background in security compliance (SOC2, HIPAA) within cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction.
