Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Architect Kubernetes clusters and optimize container orchestration for high-availability workloads
- Develop CI/CD pipelines in GitLab/GitHub Actions with automated testing and deployment
- Implement infrastructure monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Lead security initiatives including IAM policies, network segmentation, and compliance frameworks
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation incident response for production systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical workshops on cloud best practices
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP specialization
- Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Advanced scripting skills in Python/Go with infrastructure automation experience
- CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Terraform Cloud
- Strong background in network security, IAM, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
- Relevant certifications (AWS/GCP Architect, CKA, or Terraform Associate)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance at scale
