Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure environments (AWS/Azure) ensuring compliance with FedRAMP standards.
- Lead the automation of deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
- Conduct comprehensive security audits and implement remediation strategies to protect government data assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agency teams to migrate legacy on-premise workloads to cloud-native platforms.
- Define and monitor performance metrics to optimize cloud spending and system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for cloud security and devsecops workflows.
- Respond to critical system incidents and participate in a rotational on-call support schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and systems engineering.
- Active Professional Cloud Certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
