Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud architecture for performance, security, and cost-efficiency at scale
- Lead incident response and system troubleshooting for critical production environments
- Develop automation solutions to streamline deployment and monitoring workflows
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for cloud operations
- Contribute to cloud security frameworks and compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in AWS/GCP environments
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Relevant certifications (AWS/GCP Professional, Kubernetes Administrator)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
