Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration management.
- Lead architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to cross-functional engineering teams.
- Optimize cloud spending through rigorous analysis and resource rightsizing initiatives.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment cycles and high-quality software releases.
- Develop and enforce robust disaster recovery strategies and security best practices.
- Collaborate with SRE teams to improve system observability and incident response automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3) and GCP.
- Expert-level skills in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, security frameworks, and zero-trust architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
